it's a bit too soon to know about the pspslim--I'd wait until its hacked.
and an imac vs a psp have a little cost difference, but the imacs look kind of neat--though I'll confess to not knowing they were still even made until I looked it up just now.

I'm getting a PSP slim early then not opening it until I know it's hackable. I can return it if it doesn't get hacked.

It's hard... But I think I'd go for the PSP Slim. Unless they aren't able to hack it, then it's a worthless piece of crap [IMG]

I'm looking and an imac from apple cost 1199 for the lowest end model. So, buy the PSP Slim and use the rest of the money for a MacBook.

It'd be different if they ranged fromt he same price. i persoanlly like iMac's alot, but PCs can play games. I don't really care since I have a 360.

I'd say get the PSP Slim, and buy the iMac both.

Dude what kind of comparison is that? the PSPslim is a regular one that looks like its 4 percent smaller than the original. The new iMacs are sexy damn it! And, Apple > Sony when it comes to being an Overall company.

At least when Apple has a redesign, it looks different.

Definitely iMac. If you want to play, install Windows via BootCamp. [IMG]

Are PSP Slim going to be that fast-selling? After all, there is the time value of money lost if you get it early and not open it.

It's not about the value, its about getting the earliest possible firmware. As Sony releases new firmware, it gets harder to hack. And if I can't hack it, I don't want it. Plus I'm just anxious to get one. The idea of playing PS1, SNES, and N64 on such a small portable gets me excited.

I think you can afford both if you can afford a Mac to begin with

And you do get more for the buck with the iMac vs with the PSP lol >.> And Mac OS might be simple but if you need you can always run Vista or XP on it, and it will run pretty much flawlessly
