I'm so sad. The Death Note anime series has come to an end. Now what will I watch?
Death Note clearly (IMO) kicked Naruto's ass in just 38 episodes. But i still watch naruto.

Anyone have any suggestions as to an alternate to death note?

I'd recommend Monster or Baccano if you haven't watched those yet.

And if you've not seen Initial D and you like car racing then you should give that a try.

funny anime but sadly not really long time fun ... but its very good for some episodes !

    Kiba

    great anime

    Onegai Twins

i think everyone knows this, but its mostly underrated. In my opinion this is way better than Onegai Teacher.

    Rosario to Vampire

one of the better fan service anime [IMG]

I found Code Geass to be similar and more superior to Death Note.

Bleach, One piece and Cowboy Bebop.

But for Bleach and One Piece remember to watch the subbed version, not the dubbed! [IMG]

Death Note (the anime) ended last summer... I guess you are late to the game, or now watching the English dub. I enjoyed it, I then watched 2 of the 3 movies (the one has yet to come out on DVD) and I read Book 13 of the manga (basically an encylopedia) and then the spinoff book, The LA BB Murder Cases. It was pretty good for being a spinoff book, very short, you can finish it in one sitting, it gives extra insight into L as it's about him and Misori tracking down a killer in LA. Plus, Mello returns. Sort of. Read it and you'll see. Oh yeah, and there's a one-off comic that's about 44 pages long that's taking place after Near is grown up. Interesting, if nothing else.

I'd suggest you watch Tengen Toppa Gurren Langann. Its an awesome mecha anime of epic proportions.
Also Cowboy Bebop, Full Metal Alchemist, Cromartie High School, Gundam 00 are great aniomes.

*looks at his extensive list of watched anime*
    I'm guessing you like action/death/blood...

    Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
    Code Geass (and R2)
    Darker than Black
    Black Lagoon
    Elfen Lied
    Tokyo Majin
    Tsubasa Chronicles (maybe)

You can watch all of them on the net.
