Uhh... You certainly know nothing of Central Asians do you? In Uzbek we have 3 scripts, and use them where they are appropriate, just like Japanese. In anything religious or very old, we use the Persian/Arabic script, in anything public, we use the Cyrillic/Russian script, in anything Official/Governmental/Modern we use the Latin alphabet.
