Hi all,

I was playing with my DS Lite and all of a sudden, it just went off. I can't turn it back on. WHen I plug the AC adapter in, I get a battery charging signal but the unit still won't turn on. I tried another known good battery and the DS still does the same thing.

Anyone has any suggestions on how I could maybe fix my DS?

Thanks.

Well that might not even be the problem, but

All you need to do is get some solder, and bridge the ends of the fuses of the F2 fuse with a piece of wire.

I don't have a clue how to solder. never done it before...

Ah well, I guess I'll send it to Nintendo for repairs.

Might be a stupid idea,

But I can possibly fix it for you.

My dad fixed my DS Phat that it's F2 fuse blown on. He bridged it with wire and now it's working.

Nintendo charges you a lot anyways.

In the world of GBAtemp we learn how to fix things ourselves so Nintendo doesn't see our money.

I know that they charge a lot... something like 85$ for repairs and 112$ to swap it out.
