Hacking dead card?

just bought a DS Firecard 16G tried to copy files to it and got error msg then..

firelink in ds = two blank screens

DOWN+L+R+B+A = two blank screens

UP+L+R+B+A = 'USB SAFE BLOCK ******' + i run NAND_ALL.bat (nand_stable_24)
= looping 'found a badblock @ *******' (i have had this running all day it doesn't stop)

advice anyone?

what operating system? (on your computer)

i've fixed it now..
i was on an intel emulated XP (on OSX -Parallels)
booted up as XP native and it was fine..

I figured. Similar problems for some on Vista apparently so it was either or... N-card and its clones just aren't multi platform friendly.
