Pokemon cheats are simply a shortcut. If Actionreplay/Powersaves gave your pokemon infinite stats and every move you wanted so you can use it online. Then I'll complain.
Otherwise I really couldn't care less. Not everyone has the same amount of time to pour into the game, and it really sucks when you want to play aganist your friends with nice trained pokemon and you aren't
ready to battle because you haven't had the time to train them.

in some online battle , you must have an kalos origin pokemon , so pokeGen pokemon are out of the equation

but you are right,cheating is primary goal is to shortcut to everything
because of pokemon showdown, alot of my friend left pokemon XY and start using the site for battle , you can make a perfect 6IV shiny with HA and egg moves in less then 3 minutes

i usually cheat in PC games so i can finish the game more quickly

YES! My powersave works fine so far! I'm using 115 & just like many of you the codes I wanted were taken down. ... well at least in the mean time I'm glade I can clone.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. I'm one of the ones who has the older copy(got it around the time the game first came out) and I have emailed Datel, so we'll have to wait and see what happens.

I'm on a EUR MK7 and it doesn't have any Saves/Codes either, but the MK7 of B4rtj4h does work (he is using a EUR version too), which is quite dissapointing.

And since my last question was overlooked, due the Pokemanz removal codes, is anyone here with Bravely Default EUR Version? It seems that the Character Related Codes (Tiz, Agnes, Ringabel and Edea) arent accessible either and got removed at the same time as the Pokemanz codes (still the Max Money code is there and works).

Technically what Datel is doing is illegal. They are modifying Nintendo's software, which is highly illegal. Right now everything is done on their servers, so they are the ones modifying it, and thus the only people who are doing illegal stuff.

It is not illegal to modify software, as long as you don't distribute a piece of modified Copyrighted work without consent of the owner. When Datel pushed out these save edits, they were only supplying where to edit, and what to edit, nothing that could be considered illegal. If it was illegal, that would mean that every time I use Cheat Engine to hack money or coins into a game I am playing, the police could break down my door and put me under arrest.

It's your property, you paid for it, why would you not be allowed to modify your own stuff?

Those are just specific competition-based battle organizations, PokeBank'd Pokemon can be used anywhere online in general (Besides "Special Pokemon" on the GTS).

Well there is a request codes page. Maybe its a marketing ploy to get people to know about the function by getting them to re-request the codes.

The codes on the back are unique, but from what people have shared, it may be that there was a updated card made(maybe integrating the 1.1 update) all the people with issues are running AMKEY1xxxxxxxxx while the person who it works for is running AMKEY2xxxxxxxxx I can only assume its a newer production run, and the older carts haven't had any codes made for their specific save files, maybe someone with the older copy could email the save to datel and ask them to look into it

Just picked up a new copy of Mario Kart 7(just for the heck of it), and, I can access the codes with it, but the code on the back is AMKE141224, so I guess the codes on the back of the game really is random. But, it looks like you were right as far as some copies having the 1.1 update integrated, because I deleted the update data from my 3DS and when I put the game in, it didn't have the text scrolling across saying an update is available and when I started the game it had the little "ver. 1.1" next to Online Multiplayer.

Also, I just now noticed, there is a possible way to tell if the copy your looking at has the 1.1 update integrated. The copy that I just picked up today has the Nintendo Network logo on the front of the box, whereas the copy I got back when the game first came out doesn't.

ShadowMario3 Your best bet is just to buy it through amazon. It's cheaper. PS pro is just a rebrand so it's not pro at all XD no point in waitin for it.

Yeah, if Gamestop delays it again on Friday, I'll end up just ordering it on Amazon. Hopefully I'll be able to get the US version and not mistakenly get the European version, unless Powersaves are universal.

I believe the hardware is, the only thing that varies is the license code.

Whilst the codes are unique they are still most probably sequential, I had another look at the post with all the codes of carts that didn't work and they where all AMKEY10XXXX. It would just be a matter of figuring out at what point they updated........similar to how the 4.x serial numbers work below say for example anything below AMKEY13xxxxx is bad but higher is good........ I doubt many people will be too bother though

Mm, that Power Saves website add a 'code request' and 'support' section now. I requested a code for Pokémon Y to unlock Volcanion and Hoopa.
