Will it always stay at 3X or if backup loaders are able to load discs to 6X speed, would media players be capable of reading at 6X as well, or will they always be limited due to the "dvd read" mode?

if we can get backup loaders working at 6x, then i assume the media players will also have the ability to read dvd's at 6x if the feature is integrated into them.

Would you say this is generally the case in speed performance?

USB 2.0 ~ SDHC > SD ~ original DVD > 3x backup DVD > USB 1.1

USB 1.1 is way too slow for newer vids imo...

I haven't had any issues playing vids from SD or DVD

(only use MPlayer, GeeXbox lags with alot of vids for me, besides i don't have a decent sized usb HDD i can use with it to make it worthwhile atm).
