Hacking .Dat to .Sav, how??

i want to pass my pokemon save file from my 2 slot m3 to an original cart.... but i cant, im using eepinator, but it always makes an error, i knew the eppinator only reads .sav so i want to change the .dat to .sav.... i tried with the online savegame converter http://www.shunyweb.info/index.php and got an error trying to run it on eepinator , then i tried with the m3 save manager but i also got an error ......... what can i do??

    @SylverReZ find me ONE community that is free of drama and politics. even video games forums (like this one) have politics section. and for some reason gamers still take consoles/brands wars seriously. even as a kid i never took the console wars bait despite being a nintendo kid.
