    Hi all,

I recently noticed I had missed out on the First Wave for the next Dashboard update but with a bit of searching found another sign-up for a supposed Second Wave...

I'm not sure how long it will be open, for people that are interested, but here is the link: Beta Sign-up

After finishing the Product Key instructions and whatever follows, it'll let you know that it will take 1-2 business days to go through (something like that). Mine actually just took a few hours so who really knows...
There's a bit of a change to the Current Metro Style Dashboard and of course Internet Explorer comes down with the update. I'm not sure what else but here are a few facts from S7:
    • "Internet Explorer - Quite fast, USB Keyboard Support (No mouse)."
    • "Xbox Live still works, no problems so far."
    • "Party Chat works."
    • "ODE (Xk3y etc.) CFW (iExtreme) all seem fine from reports at SOME WEBSITE I SHOULD NOT BE LINKING TO!"
    Credit to AL3XX!

    Enjoy!

EDIT: So I've been told that it is now CLOSED. Sorry about that Folks!

Sweet, thanks for the heads up. I signed my Slim up, now for my Phat Xbox.

EDIT: Looks like this one's over too?

Is it? I can't tell since I have only one account to sign-up with which I already used.

If it works the same way as the last beta, you might be able to just bring that redeemed file and your account to another xbox and run it just fine.

Guess I was wrong. I was able to sign up my other account.

    Nope, I was right.

If you have a configured USB, try bringing that redeemed file over from your previous Xbox to the next one. I remember doing that with the last beta on my brother and sister's Xbox just fine. I'm not sure if I needed my Live Account to run it though but I'm assuming I did....

That blows though. I meant to post yesterday but the CheckDisk wait on this machine had me forget. :-/

I wonder if dual NANDs are affected.

EDIT: After further research dual NANDs in slims are unaffected.
