Dark Souls have abysmal load times and has textures that go missing and delayed sounds (Video Link)

    Hey there. Thank you for looking at my thread.


    So as the title says. Here’s the first video where you can see the loading time. You don’t need to watch past the 6:40 mark because I just moved around to see if texture issues would show but they didn’t




    Here’s the second video showcasing texture issues, along with disappearing environments. Watch it all the way through (2 mins)




    So a list of the problems:

    1. Long time to start up/long loading times

    2. Missing textures and even missing environments where I can fall to nothingness (as seen in second video)

    3. Delayed sound effects such as rolling or attack sounds


    These problems can be persistent enough to make the game unplayable.

    Really? Sorry, they should be public now if not in a few minutes. (just set them to public, not sure if it allows you to view them automatically)

    External hard drive? If so I know that on a slim the right usb port works best.

    Nope. That was internal HDD.

    Do any other games also suffer from this?
    Might be your harddrive's dying or you're using a bad copy.
