Having trouble modding a second Wii. I went on the WiiDrives site and it says there is a 60% chance of a D3-2. I have Neogamma final, cios rev17, Hermes 222/223 and all other NUS recommend ios installed. SD card read is perfect. Any thoughts or ideas on wether this Wii is on the D3-2 chipset? Or the main question, I have read all over online and can't get a for sure...Would the 1167 error code be a definite D3-2 indicator?

Does anyone know what the 1167 error means? I have to give the friend's Wii back soon and what to be able to tell them for sure they are screwed on disk loading.

I don't know much about the error code in particular, but I do know that those drives will never be able to run backup discs, no mater what cIOS, or anything else, you have. You can still play backups from a USB drive with USB loaders though.
