Well my Wii has been modded and it's time to play! I want to see people's views and links on the best things to use it apart from backing up games. What Homebrew's are great and what things you have done with your modchip. I have the HBC and the Sega Master System Channel going, however the SNES channel has failed in the past.

So load up this thread with your best stuff and ideas!

This has nothing to do with the D2Pro does it? You don't need a modchip to play homebrew.

Apart from Homebrew and backup games, is there anything that the modchip can do?

The modchip has nothing to do with homebrew really. You can do all the homebrew stuff without one.

All it does is allow the Wii to read burnt DVDs.

Why don't you have a look.

    http://www.wiibrew.org

    http://hbc.hackmii.com

I could hold your hand and give you a blow by blow account of all the homebrew out there, or you could have the fun of trying it all out for yourself.

There's a whole forum full of information, right here, under your nose.

    Enjoy!

I have look at a few and some are good and some are. However there is one thing I have failed to find.

A will dumper for the SD Gecko. Mine came in the mail with just the memory card and nothing else. I have searched this forum and others and there doesn't seem to be a official software for it or a dumper. Currently the Wii says the card cannot be used.
