I recently received my CycloDS and SanDisk Mobile Ultra 8GB Class 6 SDHC card and I'm very concerned about the battery life.

With a retail cart at the 3rd brightness setting and no wifi my DS gets the usual 10-15 hrs I expect. But when I play on my new CycloDS at the same brightness, I get 5 hours tops.

Could the speed and capacity of the sd card really have that much of an effect on battery life?

Has anyone had any similar experiences?

What is this "Battery Saver" function in the CycloDS's menu?

Is there anything I can do to remedy this problem?

Please Help

"With a full three-hour charge the battery will last fifteen to nineteen hours on the lowest brightness setting and five to eight hours on the highest brightness setting (both are dependent on the type of game activity)"

Unless there's been an update in the last three days, I should have the latest on there.
well make sure you have anything above 5.0 and turn the battery saver on. You can find it in the settings.

Well if battery saver is on and you still feel like you're getting insufficient life, then there's really nothing you can do except revert to a standard MicroSD.
