My CycloDS card reader not reconized in Ubuntu 7.10 when I plug it in. Is there a way to search for USB Dirves?
I need the reader for my SDHC card I ordered.

    Thanks

I suggest not using the bundled Cyclods card reader for an SDHC card, cause it's not all that powerful. I know that some people actually use it for their SDHC, and it works fine, but for some (me included) our cards were burned out. Don't work anymore. Nada. Zip.

And if it doesn't get recognized, doesn't it mean that it's defective?
Or did you put the reader in without a MicroSD?

You are most likely referring to the blue crap readers from the 1-3 batch cyclods. The new one is silver.
Also, the reader reads in Windows Vista.

Actually, I have the silver one. MicroSD down the drain.

Yeah...just stop. Stop using ANY bundled card reader. They're cheap and dangerous to your microSDs.

Thanks, I'll order the reader mentioned above.
