Hey all. Im dead set on right now on getting a CycloDS however can I use it with the EZ-flash V 3 in 1 expansion to play GBA games? If not is there a card like the CycloDS where I can? I miss playing Golden Sun on the go.

Yes, I believe the newest version(or maybe the beta) has built in support for the EZ 3 in 1. You can also use GBA EXPLoader(homebrew) if you want. Another card that has built in support is the Acekard RPG and 2.

It's the beta which has 3-in-1 support, but you may be better off staying with GBA EXPloader, as some save types require the rom to be patched, where GBA EXPloader does not.

But as far as the new beta firmware, you should get it, it's awesome [IMG]

Most flashcards are compatible with the 3-in-1, so long as you use GBA EXPloader.

Of course if you use the EZ-Flash V flashcart, you will not need it. [IMG]

All ROMs are required to be patched, GBA Exploder justs automatically patches the games as they get saved to the 3 in 1

No, just the ones that use EEPROM or Flash save types. Games that use SRAM save types will work as is.

i think the newest cyclodsevo firmware (1.51) can read gba games straight from the gui as long as the ez flash 3 in 1 is in it

The games are stored on the microsd card in the CycloDS. When the game is selected, it's uploaded to the RAM in the ezflash, which is why wait times are a little bit longer than choosing a regular DS game.
