Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed, yet again, will now release in November

Welcome to 2020, the year of cancellations and delays. Today's latest gaming industry-related delay is in regards to CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077. Previously pushed back to September 17th, the game is now releasing on November 19th, marking the second delay for the game, which was initially planned for an April 16th launch. CD Projekt Red claims that at this point in time, Cyberpunk 2077 is complete; the game's contents, writing, and cutscenes have all been finished, but the team wishes to balance some of the gameplay mechanics, fine-tune everything, and eliminate many of the bugs within the game.

I'm sure it will be worth the wait but bloody hell, I'd be happy if from now on release dates are just held back until the game is gold and ready to print. But it's not like that's going to happen thanks to pre-order culture.

And they said it wouldn't be delayed again. They did go through a couple delays with The Witcher 3 though, so it shouldn't be surprising. As long as it lives up to the hype, we'll be fine.
