CustomizeMii is a 100% legal custom Channel creator for the Wii.
It's completely written by myself (some parts are based on other 100% legal codes).
Use legal Base WADs to create your own legal custom Homebrew Channels.
The .NET Framework 2.0 is required to run this application!

There is also a mono version which runs under Linux / Mac OS X (Requires the mono framework to be installed!)

New is the built in forwarder creation. It can create simple forwarders or complex ones based on the forwarder source from the USB Loader GX Team (This one required devkitPPC and libOGC!)

For any further information, see: http://customizemii.googlecode.com
Please use the Issue Tracker there to report any occuring bugs.

Thanks to icefire / Xuzz for the basic idea of this Application!

Download: http://code.google.com/p/customizemii/downloads/list
(Please just link to this site instead of mirroring the archive, thanks!)

it doesnt seem to work right in mono for me. the program loads up and seems to run fine. then i open a wad i got from wadder and click save and nothing else. and i get the error that banner_IN.brlan is not a valid file name.

maybe has something to do with linux's case sensitivity?

Is banner_in.brlan a valid filename? I thought only banner.brlan, banner_start.brlan and banner_loop.brlan will work

Try to use the "disable security checks" checkbox, if banner_in.brlan is valid..
I only tested it on my Macbook and it worked except for random crashes.

ok. cool. disabling the safety check let it do its thing and the wad installs fine. no brick either. so i guess your safety checks are just a tad bit too safe

so is this open source? id like to default the safety checks to on or something. its 3 more mouse clicks i gotta do to turn that booger off.

Thanks for this util.

But I found out one thing...

Comparing the wadchannelsupdater,
the channel files made by CustomizeMii are a little bit bigger than the files made by wadchannelsupdater.

I prefer small block size channel , because of lack on my NAND.

CustomizeMii is really awesome.

Oops, I mean the splash image.

Some forwarder channel files have splash loading images...

How can I change the splash loading images?
Can I handle it with CustomizeMii?

Greetings.

you cant you need to recompile the source with the new image, CustomizeMii 1.2 can compile the boot.dol needed but you also need Devkitpro and the modified libogc for the GX Forwader source aswel(correct me if im wrong lol)

EDIT

Thanks for the great tool leathl, its a must need for me when ive been creating my own forwarder and hybrid channels, keep up the good work :-)

Absolutely right, you'll need devkitPPC installed along with the right libOGC (downloadable on the CustomizeMii project page).
If you got that, a menu point "Complex Forwarder" will appear, which means that it will be compiled from the source, therefore you can change the splash images for it.
