I don't think it's different for other Wii games if smash uses BRSTMs for music
Its slightly different if a game uses BTRSM File format but the disc registers the file format before its actually labeled. In theory all the songtracks ofall Wii releases could be changed but depending on the computing or compisistion of the Nintendo Wii Disc (how it loads music) it could or could not work just because the game defines its values differently.
The only games I know that can actually have songs changed or looped in different order are Twilight Princess, MKwii, Skyward Sword and Smash Bros Brawl, some other games use BRTSM but I have tried changing the music of a few games with a backed up rom file and the game simply stops playing music or breaks because of its validation.
You could try replacing songs like in Animal Crossing, but all it will do is just stop or play the music at a slower rate.
