I dunno if anyone has asked this already, but...

Is there any possibility of Wood R4 (Original) to work on the 3DS?

Buy R4i Gold from the .cn team and, yes. They have a new version that runs on 3DS.

Or go for a superior cards such as the Acekard2i or Supercard DSTWO.

The original R4 will not work.

I'm not trying to bicker. I already explained myself....
With "Original" in parenthesis I thought he was speaking of an ORIGINAL R4 cart running Wood Firmware.

So I answered no and I suggest he or she buy a better cart.

Please, just drop it.

I think the firmware version should be added to the initial list.

Do all the cards work with both 1.0.0 and 1.1.0?

The latest firmware version it works with would be handy to know.

I just have a question, which flashcard is the best so far to be used to play games on the 3DS?
Just wondering cause I don't know which one is the best to get at the moment since before I only had a DS Lite and was happy with my EDGE card.

Funny enough, i thought id take a risk and update my Acekard 2.1 with the new 2i firmware. Surprisingly the update complete using a DS Lite. Placed the card in my 3ds and it shows up with some japanese characters and 'DORASU' for title name. The picture is what looks like angel wings with a yellow halo on a pink background. Can post up pics if needed.

2.1 or 2i? The 2i can be updated, the 2.1 cannot be updated AT ALL (which is why it will never work on the 3DS).

When i put my SuperCard DSTWO in my 3DS, i got an Error.., i tried v1.09 till v1.11

edit: Patched the SCDS2 on my old DS Lite... now it works fine

I'm pretty sure all of them need to be flashed at least once because they come blank to avoid customs/copyright problems. I just picked up an M3i Zero and it works with a flash from the computer and then a flash of M3DS Real firmware from a DS/DS Lite. If you don't have a DS/DS Lite and can't borrow one, it won't work currently because the second flash is required, but if you do then the whole process takes less than 10 minutes.

The iEvo works out of the box. The bootstrap update for it does not need a DS so you aren't hampered by not having a DS/DSLite or not having any friends

someone told those cards are able to run DS games on 3DS 1.1.0.1E :

- Supercard DSTWO
- Ak2i
- Ez flash
- M3i Zero

can you confirm this ?

sc dstwo, ak2i and m3i zero all those work

ez flash i think it works too ( atleast VI)

now... super card ds two is the best one to use, but its a little more expensive... but you can play gba roms and snes roms on it! without the need of a slot-2 flashcart !
it also has a built in cpu which makes it run better homebrew!

ak2i has good support! and uses AKAIO! and is the one of the best flashcarts for nds/3ds out there

m3i zero... the new m3i zero gmp-z003 sucks... cant even use quad boot...
