In an odd business move, Nintendo and Microsoft have been very buddy-buddy recently despite always being seen as rivals to each other. From encouraging tweets at each other, to cross-play, to some form of Xbox Live support on the Switch, the two companies seem to be the best of pals.
Today, Microsoft announced Cuphead for the Switch which to me, seems to be the first big fruit of this new relationship. Yes, studio MDHR made the game but if I understand correctly, Microsoft has all rights to distribute it.
My question is this. Is this the beginning of other major cross-overs (like a Master Chief Collection on the switch or Mario 64 on Xbox) or is this one of the largest things that will come out of this? I'd like to hear all of you thoughts
