    WARNING!
    THIS THREAD INCLUDES SPOILERS!

I figured that this game, like the previous 3, will have tons of cultural refences and internet memes.

The only one I found so far was the witness in the first case called Olga Orly (ORLY?).

Post some as you find them!

in the first trial payne says something a long the lines of "this... this is madness!" which could be a reference to the well know quote from 300

    OBJECTION!

I doubt there's any portal quotes, since it's just a translation of Gyakuten Saiban 4, which was released on March 12th, 2007 as opposed to Portal, which was released on October 9th, 2007.

Just getting in the mood [IMG] Can't wait to play this game!

I noticed one but I can't remember clearly, and I don't feel like redoing the whole first case just for the quote [IMG].

I doubt many of these are actual references ...

When Valant enters the courtroom in case 3, Apollo notices that he used the door like a regular muggle.

In case 3, Apollo says something like nobody would ever name a band "the police" and later he says to Trucy you don't have to turn on the red light or something.

Maybe it's just me being wacky.

A reference to Ancient Roman culture [IMG]:
Kristoph Gavin: Et tu, Justice? (Or Apollo, don't remember)
    (Julius Caesar: Et tu, Brute?)

When you ask Wright to testify about Gavin's dinner with him in the first case

in case 3, a couple of the characters are from a fictional country called "Borginia" which is also a country in Dino Crisis, an older capcom game.

also i heard that the "Borginianese" language in the game, which is made of wingdings, contains a symbol of a man doing the hadouken

at the end of the third case the judge says: "with great accusations comes great responsibility".

thats an adaption of "with great power comes great responsibility" which comes from "spiderman".

    I don't think you are.

Honestly, the joke doesn't work, because, later, Apollo asks, "The Police?" Trucy (I think) replies with something along the lines of "no, the actual police!"

Yeah I know of the song, I just thought maybe I was taking it out of context.
