Guys, I know it is well known problem but if I connect external HDD over USB, radio in my console goes to hell.
BT works maybe 1 meter away from console max. without any obstacles and is really really annoying.
Since I use Gentoo Linux booted from external drive, having no external HDD is not an option.
I have tried using USB hub - doesn't help.
I thought about getting other console ...some cheap PS4 PRO or something.
    Any other advice anyone?

Maybe it's drawing too much power from a single usb slot? Have you tried a USB-Y cable to split so you can plug it into 2 usb slots, it's basically what we need to do for a Wii U or an external hdd wouldn't work as it wasn't getting the power needed
