Well i have something for YOU!​

Introducing..... The CTR/NXWallet for Nintendo 3DS/Switch
It currently supports formats like:
  • EAN13
  • Interleaved 2/5
  • QR Codes
  • Code128
  • Żappka TOTP QR Codes (poland/romania exclusive?)
well uh. have fun.
(If you want more formats, request them on github.)

Pretty nice, I suppose it could also be used for train tickets with the switch when loading HB from the album.
Still won't convince me to use the frog shop's loyalty program, though.

Yea, it can be used for train tickets since for ex.
The polish PKP ones use Code128 which the app supports. BUT
For some reason they decided to use some additonal "compression" so the CTR/NXWallet generated code is larger than the base one.
Same for Kaufland Card or Pyrkon codes, the first one uses a specified masking level, easy, while the latter ones use qrcodes with two different modes encoded into them [ZIEUMBP0185752 -> ZIEUMBP (alpha numeric) 0185752 (numeric)]
Technically the final data is the same but i would have to do further testing to see if these differences even matter while using these alternate generated codes.

Also uh... Lovepotion (the framework i made this app in) requires you to run the app with the title takeover function sooooo. yea i'm probably gonna bundle a home menu forwarder in later releases.

CTR/NXWallet 1.0.1 (Code128 w/ Subset Switching)​

(for ex. PKP Train Tickets use this)
