Crysis Remastered won't be delayed for the Nintendo Switch, launches later this month

Earlier this month, Crytek announced that they would be delaying the remastered version of Crysis, following backlash over the graphical quality of the game. However, it looks like the Nintendo Switch version of the game won't be affected. It has been announced that Crysis Remastered for the Nintendo Switch will still be launching on July 23rd, its initial planned release date. Meanwhile, the PC and other console versions of the game still require extra development time, and lack a solid release date.

Why are they rushing this game to the switch first?
Probably because it's the weakest? It doesn't need the fancy effects the other systems are getting to look good on a system that honestly is only 1/3 (or less) the power.

It's probably gonna be the original Crysis on Switch. I fail to see the remaster with all it's enhanced features running decently on a Switch.

So no adjustments will be made to the switch version, probably?

The switch cant handle the adjustments we are probably going to get the PS3 version ported over. They should have just ported the PS3 version of Crysis 1-3 just give the switch the whole thing.

well we can al say the switch runs crysis.... Jokes aside a game from 2007 should run good on the switch, but it is crysis we are talking about. I got a free copy of it with a evga 8800 gts 640mb ram GPU. good gpu for 2007.

Given the age of the game I'm pretty sure the Switch will be able to run it with equal or (more likely) better performance than the 360/PS3. That is unless they just rushed the Switch version or decided to cram too many "remastered" effects into it and destroyed it in the process.
