Hacking Crown3ds flashcard - Hacking your 3DS and playing 3DS games

You'd think there would be consideration for Nintendo's money troubles.
This will inevitably lead to pirating. And if we keep hacking at this rate, soon there may not be a next
system to hack.

I just wanted this not to surface for another year or so.

If everytone thinks so strongly about this, then why not just not buy it.
If you are feeling REALLY strongly about pirating on the 3DS, then you can go to the extreme and report sites that sell these things.

Mainly interested in potential region free games. I'm obviously only going to pirate foreign when ninty locked importing down, after all.

Okay most people want the flashcarts.
But most didn't want them now. People wanted it to come out after the 3DS had the chance to popularize and get Nintendo more cash before
the lack os sales disncourages game launches on the 3DS.

As an example I barely hacked my wii at the beggining of 2011. 6 months later WiiU is announced. I don't feel that bad for pirating
since the Wii scene will be dying soon.

There's no way Nintendo can block a 1:1 reflashable cart. I've been expecting this for the first solution. It could be years until we get a boot menu.

Honestly i dont feel so bad, i was one of the people who wasted 80$+ extra on the system and done give a damn about the free games they gave me (i own of have played 90% of them) so i felt ripped off while on top of that most of these games they said they had ended up being so far down the pipe my system was actually collecting dust on my nightstand.

this makes me feel so much better. Of course i will still buy things, like MH/KH type games i love and il end up getting a slide pad when it comes out even though there is a HUGE chance it will end up build onto the lite version they come out with next year.

Also games like RE: mercs il get to play without feeling boned for them doing what they did to that game. They dont deserve my full 40$..not for the no reset crap or that its a damn free minigame they wanted to get people to buy.

hey do you hear that..........what is it....its me playing the worlds smallest violin for nintendo and their "money troubles" im sure there execs are doin just fine as they pay their other employees crap, like everyone else does,they dont want to even pay a decent wage to their own people ,they have to outsource to china to manufacture their stuff, thats why i get a spot on my screen if it were made for a damn living wage in japan there would be such problems, although i do think it feels really well made for a chinese export,as much as i hate to admit it , but just look at the price cut, that should give just a little idea of what the profit margin is on these things, and the markup,
i dont think people realize just what an ineffectual ,trivial, amount of people actually use flashcards period, and less to pirate, not even close to 1 %

its like crying for the guy with a wad of hundreds in his pocket yelling about how a penny just rolled into the sewer

It can be faked, even this video, don't get your hopes up
but it seems like he flashes splinter cell 3DS into the cart rather then patches it on the fly, as the cart was recognised as Crown3DS but activated as splinter cell 3DS, yet I think he either found the encryption or the share-key

still going to suck with no menu and only 1 game, so can they not figure out how to use flash memory cards yet? can it only use the other type of ram thus far i wonder?
even if we dont see a menu for awhile, id still like to wait till we see a card that atleast has a few preset buttons on top of it for flashing different games ,crude but better than 1 game, hopefully there is no technical limitation to using flash cards, cause that will slow things down quite a bit, the other ram i think is too big to fit much inside a cart, and not cheap

I think there should be a flash card dedicated for homebrew alone, however I doubt it will be impossible to run 3ds dumps on it

I'm glad they found this because I'm still pissed at Nintendo for selling the 3DS for $80 cheaper than what I bought it at. However, the only problem I see is that this hack might scare away game developers, like what happened with the original DS.
