Gaming Crisis Core CG Question

Anyone have any ideas as to how I would go about aquiring the CG from Crisis Core, be it from the image or whatever.

I'm working on a dvd (for personal purposes of course) that will have the CG from VII, Dirge, Last Order, and I want to include the CG from crisis core as well. I though I saw a japanese copy of all the cg, but I'm just not sure how to go about getting it off of the US version.

I only ask because I'm at work, and can't really search for a bunch of stuff right now (But I have time to post on temp, go figure

If you have an image, you may want to try opening it up with UMDgenhttp://umdgen.ps3news.com/UMDGen_v4.00.rarhttp://umdgen.ps3news.com/UMDGen_v4.00.rar and poke around. UMDgen allows you to "split open" an image, if you will, and browse it's contents. I'd assume the CG movie files can be located somewhere within the UMD's directory (as well as music files and other things). Once located, you can simply copy the CG's to another place onto your computer.

(You can also use UMDgen for a variety of other purposes as well, such as creating CSOs, removing files from your UMD image, and other stuff. It's a great program to have on hand.)

The movies are in Sony's proprietry PMF format, IIRC.

Codecs for them are on shaky legal ground.

there is a pmf player for the pc but i never really found a pmf to avi or any other format converter.

If theres a program somewhere that can play it, chances are it can be converted, one way or another. I'll do it the hard way, if need be (buy a 2000 series and use the video-out)

Now I'm inside the umd, however the majority of the data is all in a .pkg file. Anyone know of an explorer that can look at those files?

IIRC it is a program that lets you watch your PSP screen on your PC via USB.

Thats actually your best bet, but get Hypercam registered.
