    Hello,

I would like some help for that question if possible. The question is quite simple.

Is it possible for the wii to be the reader of media's from a DiskStation like Western Digital do. Trough smb and external WIFI dongle or trough USB directly in the Wii. Using cios 202 with WiiMC or mediaplayer CE

    Thank You. [IMG]

I am not aware of any wii software that can use an usb wifi module.
Dont know what a diskstation is but smb over internal wifi and normal usb mass storage should work fine.

In fact the Wii needs a DLNA/UPnP compatibility application ! Does that exists ?

If this diskstation has a SMB server then yes it should work.
Computers should work too, or anything else you can put a SMB server on.

Any reason you dont simply try it out?

Wii apps support only SMB and FTP as far as I know.
