If I burned a patched Wii game using Waninkokos backup-creator, and make a copy using Nero (or any other form of burning software), will it create a bootable copy that I can again use on the backup loader? Basically having 2 backup copies, one burned using a patched ISO, the second is a copy of the patched Wii game.

Sorry if this is a noob question.

Yup, it will be the exact same disc, so it will be patched.

    Hi.
I have a quite similar question, so I think responding here would be better than a new thread...
Is it possible to make an ISO of a burned disc without modchip (via wii) or without LG-DVD Drive (via PC)?
I know I'll need a LG drive for ripping original games on PC, but is there a way around this limitation if i use an already burned game?
Otherwise, is there a way to dump burned discs on my wii without a modchip installed? Reason for my question (in short): I had a chip installed until my cousin crashed my wii. the new one doesn't have a chip and so my burned discs are useless for the backuplauncher...

    Regards,
    Xter

You can dump a backup using any drive.

to elaborate for Richy, all you need is a cIOS, rev4 or above and either:
    -Waninkoko's DVD Dumper (1.2?)
-wiihttp with disc dumping option hacked by CaitSithsometthingorother

    and firefox on your computer
    read up for more info.

Just extract the ISO's on your burned, with ImgBrn, DJTAZ told me so and it works great
You can't dump from your Wii the burned ones because the Wii doesn't recognize the burned ones, so just put it in your drive (any drive, mine is an Lite-On) open ImgBrn and "copy from Disc to file"

Once the "Backup Patcher" is used on an ISO, you can use any computer drive to make a copy of it...

BEFORE the patch is applied, you must create the backup yourself via HTTP/SD backup (torrents work as well)
