Homebrew Create an EmuNAND on FW 11.6 ?

I'd like to create an EmuNAND and then region change it so I can have both US and EU regions on My 3ds. However all tutorials require me to downgrade to 9.2, and I heard that causes bricks and complications. Can anyone help me out ?

You need CFW to do that. If you have CFW use this https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-3ds-multi-emunand-creator.381603/ it will format your sd card, but you can backup your sysnand and inject it into an emunand. Then change luma's settings to boot into emunand. This works on 11.6 boot9strap.

If you are only interested in creating 1 EmuNand, use GM9 as it will let you set more precise settings and will automatically inject your SysNand into EmuNand. GM9 does it on any version.

Yes, i always wanted to put a emunand on one of my Ds's but when i asked how to do it i just got told it was obsolete and basically just to not try it but i wanted to do it just for fun so thanks for linking how to do it

EmuNAND used to be a "full-fledged" CFW "solution," but nowadays it's mostly for region changes. I originally downgraded to 9.2 to have an EmuNAND but now I've learned and reupdated my SysNAND xD
