I said it's okay as long as it doesn't make it impossible for the other players to win.

(I actually can't use hack on MK8, but I know it doesn't ruin the fun of mk7 for my friends)

I don't even know how to report someone to Nintendo...can it be done on the console? I've not run into any hackers on MK8 yet, but I'm sure I will as time goes on, especially considering the Switch is on its way out and you know Nintendo will not care about Wii U (they haven't cared about it enough to release a firmware update since Jan)

No hacks at all should be accepted in a competitive online play.

Do what you will with friends locally but others online did not agree to play with cheaters, thats not fair to them.

Actually, no. Nintendo isn't exactly forgiving with online modding and hacking. Just take a look At those who used the Octoling model on Splatoon online.

I cheat a lot of my games, a lot more than what I'm proud to say but I draw the line when it comes to cheating online. When you are playing online with other people they are there to just have fun and someone has to come along and ruin their day for no reason. I don't even see what is being achieved other than showing the world how big of a jackass you are by ruining other people's experience.

Cheats should not be used in this manner and I hope this person gets banned right away.
