So my friend is bascially trying to convert an iso of the new legend of heroes into a cso to use with that iso2eboot program so it needs to be under 728mb....Is that possible and how cause when he tries it doesn't compress much

there is another program called PSP ISO Compresser v1.4 and it works fine to me and has the option of un compressing the cso files back to an iso if your friend ever needs to also it has a compression level controler

The program is called iso2eboot because it makes an EBOOT out of an ISO.
Making the ISO into a CSO would do nothing.

Generally when people slim down ISOs they do it by removing content, such as FMVs and bonus content.

Open ISO with UMDgen, delete /PSP_GAME/SYSDIR/UPDATE (thats OFW updater which is sometimes needed but not at all in CFW), Click "Dummy search" and then save "Compressed *.cso"
Works nicely and usually gets game many hundreds of megabytes smaller and even more if deleting some music/videos/shit. One con is that some games run extremely slow when compressed to .cso SOOO just get one really big memory stick instead [IMG]
