I'm backing up my sysNAND as we speak. I don't even understand why it's recommended to do this.
I understand emuNAND is essentially a copy of the sysNAND and kinda like running a virtual operating system(correct me if wrong), and this is what 4.1-4.5 users alter and update to latest firmwares to basically have access to 2 firmwares at once.
I have a couple of games...in this example I'll use SMTIV
I have a game cartridge, the save file of hours of progress, and purchased DLC.
now my question has to do with this:
1)If I back up the cartridge, im essentially cloning the game, and save files too?
2)If so, can I play the copied version(off red gateway) and retain the save, and use legit DLC? are they compatible?
I'm going to personally see what's up after nand backup, but would like to know how things work.
