Counter Strike 1.6 is apparently a virus -_-

So when I try to run CS 1.6, Avast stops it and says there's a Trojan.

The file is hl.exe, hlds.exe and some other one I forget.

It worked a few hours ago until the update Avast had.

And yes, I've tried restarting the computer and restarting Steam. Also it does this with other games too.

Oh and dont say reinstall Steam because I cant install stuff >__

Yeah, I have NoSteam and Steam for 1.6 and both run perfectly without a trojan warning. Now trying to run wallhacks is a different story.

?? are you using regular steam? have you applied any cracks or anything (hacks even)?

sometimes it may just be the scanner's fault. i remembered when i tried to play goldeneye: source, kaspersky picked it up as a keylogger, even though i got it from the official site...

well, just to be safe, upload those exes to this site and it will scan it for you with multiple scanners
