Is it possible to use a program like imgburn to create an .iso image of an n64 rom, rename it to .gcm, burn it to a disc and run it as a gamecube backup on a wii?

Seriously, just renaming an ISO doesn't make it compatible. If that were the case, I'd turn everything into an ISO and throw my PC in the river.

This is basically the equivalent of trying to take a .jpg image, change the filename to .exe, and expecting it to launch a valid program.
