So I haven't used my Switch in a long long while. I'd say for about 8-9 months or so until very recently when i repaired it.

I've noticed something and the battery drains faster than before.

Today a while earlier i got 3.85 hrs of battery life just by watching YouTube on my Switch.

Now my question is
Is this normal? Should my Switchs battery have lasted longer than that?

I was watching at 240p
Screen brightness wasn't that high either and i kept headphones on so the internal speakers weren't outputting anything or consuming power.

Did it actually die or did you put it on a charger before it died?

No no
It didn't drain completely
After approximately 3.85 hrs it drained the battery to 15%
Afterwards i put it on charge
I recently had a switch that seemed to drain the battery rapidly.
I charged it to 100% continued to let it charge for about another hour.
Then I drained the battery till it shut off.
Recharge the battery again to 100%+an hour or so extra on the charger.

I did this a few times and it seemed to relearn the upper & lower limits of the battery. No problems since

I did another test this time and my switces battery lasted for another hour this time! Measuring at 4.64 hours of playtime whilst watching YouTube

Seems like the battery is getting the hang of it.
