From what I could gather, this was the right forum for this thread.

Having downloaded the Moonshell plugin SDK (which is really nothing more than the source for every MS plugin save, apparently, for DPG), and installed the latest DevKitPro via it's updater, I cannot get the ARM9 files to compile- but I haven't altered the code in any way. At any rate, could anyone help me with this? This is the output I get, using programmer's notepad:

    CODE> "make"
    "make" -C arm9 -f Makefile
    make[1]: Entering directory `/d/moonshellpluginv51sdk/mspv10_wav/arm9'
    crt0.s
    link start
c:/devkitpror17/devkitarm/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-eabi/4.3.0/../../../../arm-eabi/bin/ld.exe: error: no memory region specified for loadable section `.text.3'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
    make[2]: *** [/d/moonshellpluginv51sdk/mspv10_wav/arm9/arm9.so] Error 1
    make[1]: *** [build] Error 2
    make[1]: Leaving directory `/d/moonshellpluginv51sdk/mspv10_wav/arm9'
    "make": *** [arm9/mspv10_wav.so] Error 2

here's the code in question, for anyone who would like to look at it and see if they can help me

    Home, WhereElse?
    From your above code:
    Code:
    c:/devkitpror17
It builds fine with dkarm r17 and libnds-20060201

To resolve it to build on the newer dkpro, these are not my words so I'm a bit clueless on how to actually fix it at this point, but...

okay, thank you for the help- at least I know where to start looking. This is my first time working with makefiles and everything else, so I'm going to assume that the makefile is where I'd find the linker script, would I be right in assuming this?

I can't understand devkitpro code for some reason my version never built the .nds files...
