Hacking Corrupted Save

Why is my save corrupted... I did nothing to it.

My sis was playing phoneix wright few days ago and the file name was automatically changed (some characters) and thus I have to rename the nds roms to play the game. Weird problem with R4, sometimes it just froze and the screen went white...

Is it because my spring is broken and I am using a sticky tape to put them together?
