No I never had any problem with a SD card that I can't copy file to, if you can copy file to another HDD or another SD card then the Kingston card might be your problem.
yes, i can. in fact, i moved MC backup to C, no errors. its the same drive but different partition though. still no error while moving.

I guess. Ill try Sandisk card than. I have one laying around its smaller though...

Since it's hard to know which part is causing problem, please use USB mode of vitashell with the sd2vita adapter inside your vita to test the microSD directly, do not use card reader.
1.Open Vitashell, push Start to show the Option menu, change "USB device" to Sd2vita, and "SELECT button" to USB.
2.Use the USB charge cable to connect your Vita to PC, press Select will make the Vita appear as a USB drive to PC.
You can copy file directly reasonably fast with this, but the best reason to do this is you can open command promt and use "chkdsk /f" on your sd2vita "as the vita read it".
Since you used h2testw to check, your microSD is not fake, but it maybe the card reader fault that cause data to corrupt on copy. So just avoid it and test with this direct connection.

i cant do that as i said already. thats the whole reason im taking sd out from vita to transfer because my data port on vita is damaged due to short circuit of the data/charge cable.

id be glad if i could fix that somehow.... i might open separate threa for that. :/

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

by the way, i just bought new sandisk 128Gb micro SD from pc shop in city.
im afraid to use Win32DiskImager and zzBlank.img thing, what if that screwed my old sd..i mean it was working fine till i did that....

any other way to format it without using those...what are those anyway?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Well the card readers (i got 3) ARE chinese to be fair..but they did the job always.
idk...i can try lap-top directly in sd slot without usb reader. is there any way to directly connect two PC's with cable...perhaps ethernet cable?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Ok i kinda found the answer here: https://www.reddit.com/r/VitaPiracy/comments/8z51wz/what_happens_whats_the_point_in_writing/

But still...can this process screw up the SD card in any way? Like in my case. Did writing zzBlank.img somehow messed up my 64GB Sd, and if so, can it be reversed?
As i said the card in new, perhaps 3 month new and original one. i dont buy from ebay, i buy from real stores selling orricial equipment.

So i can use card reader to transfer files. What about what ZeroScene said: "There are sign of fault when reading by PC, so avoid that card reader."

Also how would you format the card using YAMT (whatever that is...i presume its vita app)?

P.S. By the way, i formatted the card with 64kb cluster size now, and transfer speed is slower. i guess thats better... so far no errors. ill see how it goes once i transfer games.

Ok so i did zzblank again with Win32DiskImager, and formatted with 64kb cluster, and while transfering backed up files from vita MC this showed up:

OKP106U.png

again, same thing....

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

EDIT:

Now i just formatted the SD without using zzblank and stuff, simple "format" with 64kb, and still error when copying.

Now i get this:
AbQGC59.png

yamt is a driver like storage manager, but there's an installer. some people have problems with the system asking them to format after using it, but I don't recall that personally. yamt lite is only for ux0 and uma, which should be good for most people, including myself. full yamt can change anything, just like storage manager, and it adds a new option under devices to change things directly without needing a configuration file. I'm personally using yamt lite, because it's made by @Aurora Wright , the dev behind luma. I also don't need the extra stuff. I don't even need uma. it will add uma if I insert an official memory card automatically. anyway, it's faster than storage manager. I mean my vita is like lightning. ;) everything loads very fast, because yamt becomes a part of enso itself. it's only compatible with 3.60 and 3.65 for that reason.

To be perfectly honest, i barely followed what you wrote, its all to technical and unknown for me still... so what is that basically, in layman term?

How does that works for me and what do you mean you are using lite BECAUSE its made by aurora wright?
Also about that problem that people had asking to format the system after using it...its not really a small thing, it can happen to me probably.

But right now im interested in how to format sd propperly. I thought what you said about YAMT that its some other method for SD formatting instead of using zzblank.img...

Technically a simple solution do exist, if you have Yamt, you can put microSD in sd2vita and format them by Yamt (please remember to REMOVE Sony Official memory card to not format them by accident).
After format, setup the sd2vita plugin to make Sony memcard the ux0, while the sd2vita the uma0. Then directly copy everything from ux0 to uma0, no need for PC at all. After copy complete, switch the sd2vita setting to make sd2vita ux0 and everything done.

my MC is empty, nothing to copy, i already backed up all files on PC and on to SD card (sd2vita). i can copy files only from PC now.

Also i would need some future solution to transfer new files on to SD. So i want to be able to take out SD and transfer via usb card reader.

By the way, so you suggest to instead of using zzblank.img and format on PC, to use yamt to format SD inside vita?? did i get that right?
If so..again..can i take out SD after that and use it on PC to transfer files, since data transfer with vita cable wont do for me sadly?

no, what I mean by the Aurora Wright comment is that it's made by a well-known dev. there are a couple devs in the vita scene who have made brickers, so I avoid their stuff at all costs. all yamt is is a faster driver. I don't know why it's not a part of the guide.

I see, thanks for the clarification.

So while i was waiting for reply here i searched about zzblank and i also came across this:
http://www.eazyhax.com/sd2vita/Untitleddocument.html

So since my SD is a brand NEW, judging from this tutorial, i basically just normal format through windows formater with default allocation unit size.
As for YAMT... how exactly do i do that, and where can i find out more about it, and i did not noticed my vita was slow anyway, but if its like 3x faster thani guess its worth it.

By the way, as i asked ZeroScene above, if i format using YAMT, can i us microSDon PC normally to transfer files?

Since you are not sure if the zzblank.img and PC format you use are correct or not, just try the Yamt format since it do not involve PC. You can still plug it to PC to copy after the format since the PC still read it fine.

Yamt actually boost the boot speed when you start the vita greatly, but the speed when open game is not that much faster. It have config menu in the vita system setting, while other plugin use a txt file config, so just use what plugin you prefer.

I did had problem with the card reader, it make my sd card seem corrupted to PC, but after I got my new microSD, it was the chinese card reader causing problem.

BTW, info on yamt

i dont mind messing with txt file, i mean its set up once and thats it as i understood and its manual meaning i know what i did.
I see, so formatting in vita. Yeah its chinese but it worked fine. but what im vorried are not files or card reader, but the card it self. Can it be damaged permanently when using chinese reader? thats my biggest concern rn

By the way, what do you think of MiniTool Partition Wizard. i heard many people say its good for formatting and stuff or is windows formatter fine?

The only point of zzblank.img is to wipe all the data table, including hidden partition, which the normal format process ignore, so what program you use do not matter much though.
From what i know, bad card reader and sd2vita adapter CAN cause permanent damage to the card, when the pin inside made from bad material which break and bend easily, it will make the card hard to put in/get out, leaving deep scratch on the contact surface, and make the data corrupt on copy.
