Hope I posted this in the right area (sorry if not)

How does one copy their purchased cartridges to their micro sdhc memory card plugged into their CycloDS Evolution slot 1 cart?

Being able to launch purchased games from my 8gb micro sdhc card in slot 1 would be advantageous over continually swapping out the carts.

(I also have the slot 2 occupied with the EZ3in1 cart)

    HELP!

    Clear as mud I'm stuck.

LOL "purchased" my ass saying that word doesn't change the fact that you have a flashcart any better. And you know it. So stop trying to hide the fact you download roms illigaly.

DS forums would be better suited to this.

To be honest most people just download the games from the Internet. If you wish to dump your own however, your best option would be Rudolph's NDS Backup Tool 3in1 version. This will copy 32 MB of the game at a time onto the 3in1's NOR flash, then copy that to your slot-1 microSD card before repeating the process until the whole game is dumped. You could also use the Wifi version, but that would take hours.

He might have a bad internet connection and wants to rip some of his own carts so he doesn't waste time downloading them.

That be a valid excuse for psp isos but not ds because ds roms are so damn small compared to psp. So don't give me that bullcrap.

The largest DS games are 256 MB in size. 256,000 KBytes (estimation) at 7 KByes per second (maximum for a dialup connection, nearly all the time it's closer to 4-5) is 36571 seconds, which is 609 minutes, which is 25 hours. That's over a day of straight downloading. You were saying?

Hey, I'm on dial up, and as Dan The man, pointed out speed isn't that great, actually I only get about 4KB downstream, and I can't DL anything over 95MB without a DL manager and most of the *ahem* sites really aren't friendly to DL managers, so after 8 hours, my isp hangs up the connection. so anything over 95 MB I can't get.

I recenty dumped my own copy of GHoT (100MB zip file) in about 30 min using Rudolph's slot 2 NDS backup tool... not to mention if karenramel just got a flash cart, she's probably been playing games on her DS, and I'm sure she would like to get her save files off the carts as well.

If you cannot help the TC, or have any related opinion, why bother to post at all?

You're not helping in any way whatsoever. This topic did not ask for your personal opinion of games, nor your accusations of piracy. If you're not going to help, go elsewhere.

As for the TC, as already said, use Rudolph's 3in1 backup tool. Very simple to use, and a hell of a lot faster compared to the wifi counterpart. If you need any specific help on how to use it, feel free to PM me.

Look up NDS Slot 2 dumper on www.maxconsole.com

    Edit- Found it here: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=56966&hl

    Oh, and Shadow#1:
    FUCK YOU.

Maybe he wants to dump his own games? So what of it? Its his choice, even if he has fast internet maybe he wants to avoid problems with piracy? Maybe he only wants games he has purchased? Maybe he wants to make sure his roms are pure dumps? WHO THE FUCK CARES? Let the guy do what he wants.

I personally used the wifi version to dump my gmaes, but its painflly slow (like 1hr for 64MB). So I think the 3in1 backup tool's a better choice...

It won't be faster unless you use any of the slot 2 versions.
