Is there anyway to convert a Visual Boy Advance save to a save that will work on the ez-3in1?

They both use raw saves, they should already be compatible. The only thing I can think of is one or the other padding the save file unnecessarily, but that's easily fixed.

How about the other way around?
I tried importing saves from 3 in 1 but VBA starts a new game
I have no problem from VBA to 3 in 1
