I've got a 128K VBA .sav file here that I'd love to transfer over to my G6. They're the same ROM, but no attempts at renaming have been working so far. Is there any way to successfully convert this .sav file to a working format for G6?

    You could try outphase's converter.

.sav will work guaranteed. .sgm (or whatever save states are) will not.

gameshark snapshot files gotten from places like GameFAQs, I just import it into VBA which in turns converts to a .sav and I just use outphase's convertor to do the rest..

It's as simple as renaming save files from .0 to .sav. Seriously.

Not quite as easy. I found that the padded save files are not always compatible. You need to shrink the save file down to the appropriate size.
