    Hey Guys,

right now I want to create a cia-file out of some .elf files (works almost without problems) but I can't get sounds for banners to work.
Right now, I just get a annoying beeping sound instead of my sound.
    Here's the sound I get: http://puu.sh/kHCL7/bbd0444d5e.mp4

this is the sound I want to use: http://www.xup.in/dl,13612937/audio.wav/
    .wav file,
    size: 380kb,
    length: 3sec,
    bitrate: 1024kbit/s).

could you help me with it?

I had the same problem converting wav files for the banner (I was using the tool in the leaked 3ds Dev ToolBox), but I can't remember how I solved.

    It was related to:
    • coding (PCM, not ADPCM)
    • channels (can't remember if it was to be mono or stereo)
    • bps, some frequency wasn't working
    Make some experiments.

is it possible to convert sounds to PCM?
    If yes, how?
bps? which one is "the best one" to use?
channels? I've tried stereo only right now :\

Does someone else have ideas how to "fix" this soundfile?

To edit wav files I use Audacity.

Okay. All you need to know is this:
    • The sound file can only be exactly 3 seconds, or less.
    • It needs to be 32-bit float.
    • It needs to be stereo.
    • Finally, the frequency needs to be 32000Hz.
Use Audacity to edit these properties, and then tell me how it went. :) It worked perfectly for me.

well, used AudaCity to edit this file.
I saved it as 32-bit float wav (stereo and 32000Hz).
And yes, i trimmed it to exactly 3seconds.
And now, the Banner tries to kill my ears... xD

    NEVER USE 32-bit FLOAT!
After I tried it as 16bit PCM, it worked pretty well^^

Hmmm... 32-bit float worked for me. Oh well. Glad to know it works for you now! :D
I'm sorry for the ear rape you had to endure!

Couldn't open it... Firefox is such a dick, sometimes, lol! :wtf:

I'm guessing it was a rapidfire clicking sound, am I right?

Edit: No it wasn't. But JESUS CHRIST THATS PAINFUL OR WHAT????
