Hacking convert japan dsi to european?

can i redirect the update server my japanese dsi connects to?
I want it to download the new firmware at the european website, then will my japan dsi be fully english?

You are thinking it would be like a Wii, dont you? If we have custom firmware, then we can think if it's possible to have english menu. Im no expert at hacking but for now, I dont think it's possible. But then again, it might be possible if we have a good team of guys who can make custom firmware. Dont flame me.
