Hacking Convert FCE Ultra Save States?

Is there anyway I can convert my old save states to work with the new FCE U GX? All the save files have FCS extensions and do not load when I try to run them.

Aw man... Lol I wish you had posted what you did to fix this, cus I am having the same problem and cant figure it out. I am trying to use the save states from the fceu wii version on my pc so I can continue my game, but they dont load properly and I get an error message when trying to load them. What is the fix for this? Ive tried renaming the file and that allows me to load the states just fine, but when they load they are all messed up and the game freezes.
