This is a pic from before I tried to jumper the missing fuse. there used to be a little black fuse just like the one next to it. you can also see that none of those damaged traces are touching one another.

I see, painful work..

if you use a Voltage tester to check if the connection work? he probably might have a dead wii modchip or dead DVD-rom.
