Hacking Constant drive clicks

For some reason when I load backup or retail games the wii drive clicks like mad and gives error message that it cant read the disc. I have a wiikey, please help

It could be a loose wire on the WiiKey install, or it could be a drive on its last legs. You'll need to open it to have a look.

This doesn't sound software related to me.
