Hey Nintendo, you can handle this and people will love you again. Get on some gaming levels for once and allow some 3rd party games or we are going to have a Dreamcast U on our hands.
The problem is not just allowing them, the problem is also there's not much incentive for third party developers to develop shit for it.

That's what they need to push for, they need to push for some 3rd party games for once.

Except Nintendo gamers don't buy third party games which is the exact reason third parties tend to pass over Nintendo consoles. People who buy Nintendo systems want Mario and Zelda; they aren't particularly interested in any third party titles. From a third party perspective, it's completely understandable that they don't want to put a game on a system where it may sell 50,000 units versus the 1+ million that a first party game will sell. It's disheartening and hardly worth the cost of porting the game to the Wii U, much less developing a game from scratch for a third party exclusive.

This isn't a new problem either. Its root goes back to the N64 when third parties shifted their focus to the PS1, worsened on the Gamecube when third parties decided to stick with the PS2, and pretty much hit a point of no return with the Wii.

Oh is there a Rockstar game on Vita? Let me check.... no.

Vita's just as much of a commercial failure as the Wii U so don't expect GTA on it.
A port, not a new game, not even a remake. Wouldn't take as much effort on Rockstar's part.

Don't know what the Wii U has to do with this, I'm talking about the Vita.
