Or just a couple of days animating it in after effects. The switch UI is fairly simple tbh. Still a waste of time, but this leak seems to have garnered attention, so it can't be that wasted on the creator's part. He soaks up all of that attention.

Can you even begin to fathom the difference in faking the two things through VFX?

Okay so here is my 3cents. I think this is real we have heard about cloud usage on the system in terms of games before which have been confirmed I.e. Sega’s phantasy star game using it to keep data low. So judging by this I’d have to say this is very highly likely.
