    have a bunch of folders storing my MP3's how can i set them back to there orginal way

    for example when i make a new folder its set to Tiles and they are arranged by Name

    all my mp3 folders are set up in all these different ways i want to set them back to defualt



    btw im on windows xp sp2 if anyone is interested

    Do you mean want your folder's like this.

    Press the blue square button on the bar at the top of the window the one next to the folders button and select Thumbnail.
    If you want the album cover on the thumbnail/folder right click>properties>customise>choose picture.

    thats how i have my stuff now i want it back to windows defualt

    Use the same blue button and choose from the different views.

    yes i know that but to do it by hand one by one for over 300 folders is time consuming

    no way to set it back to defualt ?

    Go up one level and right click on the folder, go to the customization tab, pick what you want, and check "apply to all subfolders" and apply

    Or tools/folder option/view/apply to all folders

    also if you're folders stop remembering their custom view, use tweak ui to extend the amount of remembered views. I think theres also a registry hack too.


    or use directory opus and stand at awe at it's amazing awesomeness. just had to plug that in since it's customizable to the very end. and if you do use it, the default layout isn't that great. till you customize it to the very end.
