Comcast testing DVRs with built in cameras

this just goes to show you how stupid Comcast really is. internally, they are testing DVRs with built in webcams! why? to see if you are watching commercials or not. if they see a kid watching TV, they'll block inappropriate content. i can't believe they didn't fire the guy who cam up with this on the spot, let alone actually put it into testing.

My friend who lives in my neighborhood has comcast. Her internet according to speedtest.net is.... 25,000 kb/s? WTF? I only get 4,500. This is madness?

My friend who told me about bittorent has comcast and he torrents everyday.

and besides they're only testing it, it probably won't ever be released because of some privacy law.

Though I do like the fact that they discard your bills after so long. (say 6 months to a year).

You can rack up a 400 dollar bill with them, have your service disconnected, wait a while, call them up, and they'll give you service again at the going rate as advertised on tv (previous bill will not be in the computer). That's really the only reason I like them.
